We started this cyclocross season with a bang at our first training weekend, the EvoDevo Super Camp…… 50 riders and their parents had a great weekend in Yorkshire. We even booked cyclocross weather!

The camp
The camp included skills sessions, race drills, pit practice, relay races, individual races and classroom sessions for the riders.
Separate from the riders, we also ran specific sessions for parents/helpers who form a rider's support team. These sessions covered tips & practical advice, focusing on nutrition, managing race day, working in the pits, plus a session with a UCI commissaire.
Finally, we had special guest sessions from Chimp Management’s Tim Buckle who ran a series of brilliant talks for the groups all in aid of charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

Feedback
The weekend was a great success, and it was brilliant to see riders from all over the country having fun and socialising with each other, but don’t just take our word for it.
Riders said, “really fun absolutely loved the training and the workshops were really helpful for me and my dad” & “absolutely loved it and learnt loads!”
Parents said, “Social aspect and brilliant quality coaching” & “Insight to alternative ways of doing things and getting the riders to understand that’s it’s not all about just jumping on the saddle”.
Support us
Our activities can only happen if we have funds to run them. We have great plans and are working hard to make Evodevo grow, but we can only do this with your support.
Donations can be made online . Please also help us to spread the word and raise awareness with potential donors, partners and new riders.
