Overview
EvoDevo is a not-for-profit company driving the evolution and development of young British racing cyclists on the international stage. This will be achieved by providing opportunities for them to learn and develop their cycling careers on the international stage.
We give opportunities to young bike riders, providing them with the highest chances at having their best and most enjoyable cycling career.
We will also advance the wider cycling community on this journey, gaining and sharing experience and knowledge in the process.
Company Objective
EvoDevo exists to give young British racing cyclists opportunities to develop, learn, and experience high-level racing and cycle sport in a safe, well-organised, and well-managed environment. International race trips are known to be complex, costly, and a daunting prospect for many. We want to help guide and educate those involved to create and subsequently maximise access for all to more of these vital experiences.
Along with the bike riders’ development, we intend to take the parents, coaches, and volunteers with us on this journey to develop the wider cycling community.
This wider education of the cycling community will provide EvoDevo with a sustainable legacy.
What Our Company Will Do
EvoDevo will organise:
- International race trips
- Coaching sessions
- Training and education camps
- Advice and information for riders, parents, and coaches.
The company will employ experienced, qualified coaches as well as carers and mechanics – all of whom will set a high professional standard.
In this first year, we plan to organise and run three international cyclo-cross race trips over the winter season for Junior riders. As part of these trips, we will share the planning and preparation with riders, parents, and coaches via video meetings.

How Our Company Will Function
EvoDevo Cycling is registered with Companies House as a Community Interest Company (CIC). And, as such, we are a limited not-for-profit company created with the purpose of benefiting the cycling community.
Therefore, this means all funds coming into the company will be used to help us fulfil our objectives.
The company is funded by partners, donations, and grants.
The members of the company oversee its general running.
The various forms of actual activity the company carries out will be delivered by a mix of the company members and external staff. These staff will be paid or be volunteers working for the company. All staff will hold a current advanced DBS check.
